It all starts when you hit puberty and your hormones bring about numerous changes in your body. And one of the changes is that you start getting your periods or menstrual cycle. During your periods, you tend to feel all sorts of emotions and sometimes it is stressful. One of the ways to combat the stress during that period is to maintain cleanliness and hygiene. There are several things you should pay attention to avoid infection and other related problems. So here are some period hygiene routines to have a clean and safe period. 1. Take bath at least once a day

It is important to keep your body clean during your period to avoid odor. Take bath at least once a day and also, wash your hand before and after cleaning your vagina or changing the sanitary pad or other menstrual protection. 2. Wear comfortable cloths

Wearing clean and comfortable clothes will make sure that your go through the day comfortably. Avoid wearing tight clothes, especially close to your vagina. 3. Wash your face twice a day

5. Wash your vagina right way
